Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What about the NHS Track & Trace App?
The NHS Track & Trace App is not mandatory for establishments, but is advised as it offers a digital solution for logging; as long as you are logging your customers is the legal part. Roll Inn does just this, and is NHS compliant, so you get the best of both solutions.
Q. What if a customer doesn't have the App?
We also have an App-less version of Roll Inn. When a customer scans a poster and they don't have the App installed, they'll simply be presented with an online web form to fill out. However they'll only be able to checkin, other Roll Inn features will require the App (ordering food).
Q. Roll Inn App vs ePos App
Roll Inn has two Apps. One for the customer (called Roll Inn), and another for the establishment (called Roll Inn ePos). The ePos App allows establishments to access more features and tools to help manage and process orders, tasks and analytics safely and efficiently.
Q. What is a QR Poster, and Location ID?
When you signup to Roll Inn, you're given a unique poster that is associated to your establishment. It allows for customers to quickly scan the QR code using the camera on their smartphone. Once scanned, they’ll be able to confirm to Roll Inn that they’re within your premises, and can be checked in.
Q. Is Roll Inn Free?
For establishments, there is a small monthly subscription cost of £9.99 per premises that'll give you full access to the Roll Inn platform.
Q. Alert customers of an outbreak
If there has been a COVID-19 outbreak within your establishment, then by UK law you need to notify all customers that have been into your premises within the last 21 days of the outbreak. Please contact us immediately on hello@rollinn.co.uk so we can assist with this.
